The perfect place for the perfect pics

Stirling Observer - - PICTURE OF THE WEEK - Donald Morton

Amateur photographers have been sending in their snaps of the spectacular scenery as part of our Picture of the Week feature.

We’re lucky that the Stirling Observer circulation area is home to some of Scotland’s favourite historic buildings in Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, while a short drive away, beautiful countryside extends west across the Carse of Stirling towards Glasgow and north through the Trossachs to the edge of the Highlands.

Whatever the weather, the photos our readers send in are fantastic and today we’re featuring a number of them – along with a couple from Observer snapper John McIntyre.

If the photos have encouraged you to get out with your camera or even your phone and you want to send us some of your snaps, all you have to do is email them to our Newsdesk news@stirlingobserver.
