Classic Carly sings with the greats

Stirling Observer - - THETICKET - Robert Fairnie

Classical singer Carly Paoli has shared a stage with legends such as Andrea Bocelli, Jose Carreras and Elaine Paige. Now she is set to bring her talents to Stirling with a performance at the Albert Halls on Friday, November 24. The show will form part of a 29-date UK in which she will be joined by one of the country’s most successful musical theatre groups – Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro. In addition to performing a selection of songs with Collabro, the 29-year old will treat audiences to music from her debut album Singing My Dreams which was released earlier this year. The album tells the personal story of a little girl from Mansfield who fell in love with MGM musicals, a teenager who sang in the piazzas of Puglia, a student at Tring Park and The Royal Northern College of Music and a rising star who is receiving recognition whenever she perform. Carly, who has performed on international stages in Rome, Monaco and New York among others, can count the Pope and Prince Charles among her fans. And she hopes to win over some new support when she takes to the stage in Stirling next month. Tickets available at gigsand and ticketmas
