The frontman of top‘80s rock band Marillion will perform at the Tolbooth.

Scots singer-songwriter Fish will start his December UK tour with a performance at the Stirling venue on Tuesday December 6.

The show will feature a full performance of Clutching at Straws – his last album with his old band on the 30th anniversary of its release.

The musician will also treat the crowd to songs from his new album‘Weltschmerz’, which is scheduled for release in summer next year, as well as other well-known tracks from his solo career.

It’s a welcome return to the venue for Fish after a sold-out show in 2011 on his Fishheads Club acoustic tour.

This time they will be joined by a full band with Robin Boult [guitars], Steve Vantsis [bass], John Beck [keyboards], Gavin Griffiths [drums] and Doris Brendel on backing vocals.

With his only other Scottish show at the Glasgow O2 ABC sold out, this is a unique opportunity to catch him up close and personal. Tickets priced £20, available from culturestirling.org/events/fish.
