Threats to ex on voicemail
Sentence has been deferred on a man who caused a foul-mouthed disturbance at last year’s Callander Highland Games.
Daniel Dyer (26) made offensive remarks to his former partner Adele McLean during the event on June 30. The Drummond Place resident also left threatening messages on her voicemail.
He admitted behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.
He also pleaded guilty to shouting, swearing and making threatening remarks inside a police vehicle on the same date.
He also struggled violently with police constables Gavin Nicoll and James Riva at a point near Buchany on the A84 between Callander and Stirling.
When he appeared at Stirling Sheriff Court on Wednesday sentence was further deferred for an assessment of his suitability for the Caledonian Programme, which aims to address domestic abuse.
He is due to return to court on February 7.
