Farm­ers’ mar­ket on­a­gain

Stir­ling Farm­ers’ Mar­ket is back again in Port Street to­mor­row (Satur­day) from 10am till 4pm for the first of two mar­kets this month.

The mar­ket will also be on site on Novem­ber 24 to help with Christ­mas shop­ping.

New ar­ti­san bak­ery Bak­ery An­dante is mak­ing its de­but this week­end with a se­lec­tion of hand­made sour­doughs and pas­tries, crois­sants and quiches.

The An­dante staff are look­ing for­ward to meet­ing new cus­tomers in Stir­ling and will be on hand to help you choose which good­ies are best.

Also on the menu at the mar­ket this month will be free-range hen and duck eggs, award-win­ning cheeses and beau­ti­ful gift ham­pers, High­land beef, wild veni­son and game, Fife pork and ba­con and also Good Life high wel­fare veal.

There will also be lo­cally pro­duced fruit wines and ciders, honey meads, craft beers and gins, Ar­broath fish and shell­fish with Ochil Fudge, home bak­ing, scones and ‘Olives and Things’ for af­ters. Also on of­fer will be hand pro­duced jew­ellery and gifts for all oc­ca­sions.

Stall hold­ers will be tak­ing or­ders for Christ­mas.
