Bruce Memorial Church Cambusbarron will join in the nationwide day of commemorative events marking the centenary of the end of World War One. At 6am piper Stewart Marshall will play a lament. Church will begin at 10.45am and locals will gather at the war memorial at noon. At 6.55pm there will be a further Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial, including lighting candles and ringing the church bells. Rock Solid Youth Club P4-7 meets tonight from 6.30-8pm in the church hall.
