Harvest Festival is great time to make a difference

homeless and disadvantaged people every year, with the majority of these meals coming from Harvest Festival donations.

Making a donation of food to The Wellspring could not be easier. Donations can be dropped off at the project any day of the year, Monday to Thursday 9am-8pm and Friday to Sunday 9am-2pm. We would be delighted with any organisations or members of the public who would like to donate food this harvest time.

The things we need the most are tinned soups, tinned meats for sandwiches, tinned vegetables and tinned fruit.

We can and do make use of absolutely any kind of food donation though.

We aim to make it easier for local people to apply to volunteer at the project. We always have volunteering opportunities available.

Wellspring has now launched two types of collection box, we have a generic collection box to be placed at point of sale locations around Stockport. We have also launched a swear box collection box!
