WE are very privileged to have a wonderful community of lovely people running regular events here at Seven Miles Out which bring a unique atmosphere to the centre.

Two of these people are Kevin Birchall and Linda Yarwood who run Recordsville Social taking place this Friday. Kevin and Linda are vinyl collectors who travel all over the country to DJ at events and gigs and have played for St Etienne, The Primitives and Teenage Fan Club. The couple like nothing better than to share their passion for music which makes their night a must for all pop fans and vinyl junkies.

This month Recordsville Social in October presents a John Peel Special featuring some of his favourite bands such as The Raincoats, Mo dettes, Girls At Our Best, Buzzcocks, Twa Toots, Au Pairs, Gang Of Four Marine Girls, The Slits and including a special DJ set from Helen McCookeryBook from Peel session faves The Chefs and Helen and the Horns.

Join us from 1pm for a great afternoon in Seven Miles Out supporting these talented young people, some of whom will be performing in public for the very first time. Pop in and enjoy a brew or something a little stronger.
