Winter golfers
Winter golf at St Fillans proved to be popular, with 27 members taking part during the period from November to March and 16 keen players competing regularly.
Weekly scores were scrutinised by the senior convenor Keith Stewart and the overall eclectic winner was Stewart McNab with John Bennett as runner-up.
John emerged as the overall winner of the best 6 nett score competition and collected the Callander Decanter at the prize-giving on Friday.
Keith was thanked for taking on the senior convenor duties.
Members competed on Friday for the Henry Heath Quaich.
This annual event is held in memory of a very popular member and this year’s winner was Paul Brown, with Keith as runner-up.
