Tractor road run for charity
Tractors will be chugging through the Strath on Saturday when a charity run takes to the roads.
More than 20 vintage vehicles will congregate at Halley’s old yard at Bridgend in Crieff from 9am prior to setting off at 10.30am prompt.
The run out has been organised by the DMR Machinery Club and Strathearn Vintage Ploughing Association and should be quite a spectacle.
The tractors will head through Sauchie, past MacRosty and Mungall Parks and along Turretbank Road where they will head over the crossroads and make their way up to Glen Turret Dam.
They will then travel to Gilmerton and Kinkell Bridge via Strathallan Castle making their way to Braco for a lunch stop at Jock Brown’s before heading back to Crieff mid afternoon.
