Comrie Development Trust is extending an invitation to all local tradespeople within Comrie and the surrounding area to come to Cultybraggan Camp on Thursday, September 14, at 3pm for a presentation on the upcoming Heritage Self Catering Project.

The multi- faceted project has been granted provisional funding, and is set to go out to tender to invited main contractors by autumn.

Tara Fraser, CDT Project Planning and Development Manager, told the Herald: “With work expected to commence on site early in the new year, Comrie Development Trust wishes to include local tradespeople where possible.

“If any interested parties wish to learn more about the project they are invited to attend the presentation from our architects.

“Those trades then attracted to the proposals will be able to register interest and have their contact details included within the Tender Package for the main contractors to use.”

Funders for the self- catering project include: Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic Environmental Scotland, SSE Sustainable Communities Fund, Community Shares and P&K Leader. For more information, Tara can be contacted on 01764 670769.
