Firms in line to net a boost from Vale

Strathearn Herald - - SPORTS - Sports Reporter

A local business could be about to net a boost from a Crieff amateur football club.

Division One side Vale of Earn are on the lookout for a Strath capital licensed premises to provide a venue after matches.

Player/coach Garry Brock explained a previous arrangement was no longer feasible and any new agreement could be beneficial for all those connected to the Market Park outfit and the potential pub alike.

He told the Herald: “We are currently looking for a new pub to accommodate us after home games.

“Generally, this would mean both sets of players heading back to the pub after each home game for at least an hour for some refreshments.

“Our club would also have our annual Christmas meal night out there and be willing to hold other events at said venue to help put money back into the pub that would be supporting us.

“It’s something we really need and is also a good financial earner for a local pub.”

Contact the club via Facebook or call Garry on 07515 269685.
