The Crieff Ac­cor­dion and Fid­dle Club met in the Bri­tish Le­gion for the Septem­ber

meet­ing. This month had more play­ers and a big­ger au­di­ence. Joan Blue and Gerry Box­all were back­ing the lo­cal play­ers. On ac­cor­dion were Ste­wart Smith, Fred David­son, Ge­orge Brun­ton, Gla­dys Wright, Peter Ste­wart,Wil­lie McFarlane, Robert Dykes, Robert Miller and Bruce Lind­say. Fid­dle play­ers were Ste­wart Reid, Gor­don Cameron and Gor­don Walker. The guests for the evening were Tony Kear­ney and his band with Tony on but­ton key ac­cor­dion, Graeme Burns on fid­dle, Ian McCal­lum on sec­ond box and Gerry Box­all on drums. In the sec­ond half Bruce Lind­say joined the band. They pro­vided a va­ri­ety of mu­sic for the au­di­ence to en­joy. The evening fin­ished with a stra­mash led by Ian McCal­lum. Our guest band for Oc­to­ber is Matthew McLen­nan and his band.
