Coach travellers urged to check festive bus timetables

Strathearn Herald - - THE TICKET -

Stagecoach has urged passengers to check their journey before travelling due to changes to bus services in the Strath over the festive period.

No services will run on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and special timetables will run on Boxing Day and Tuesday, January 2.

On Christmas Eve and Hogmanay, some lateevening Stagecoach services may end earlier than usual or be withdrawn.

A list of affected journeys and special festive timetables is available to view and download on the Stagecoach website, with festive guides also available in local travel shops and on buses.

Douglas Robertson, commercial director for Stagecoach East Scotland, said: “Our website journey planner has been updated to show the special festive timetables and affected journeys.

“We would encourage anyone planning to travel between Sunday, December 24 and Tuesday, January 2, to check the website or festive timetable guide.”
