Rev­ellers keep up tra­di­tion

In Cri­eff, party-go­ers kept up the tra­di­tion of gath­er­ing in James Square to usher in the new year.

Cri­eff Com­mu­nity Coun­cil or­gan­ised the event, which kicked off at 10.30pm and saw a large crowd as­sem­ble to wel­come 2018.

Com­mu­nity coun­cil­lor Mike Steinka told the Her­ald:“We had about 200 peo­ple. The Ca­su­als gave an ex­cel­lent per­for­mance.

“Aaron Lee pro­vided en­ter­tain­ment with his street danc­ing and lo­cal piper Calum Fer­gu­son piped us into 2018.

“Thanks to all com­mu­nity coun­cil­lors oun­cil­lors and fam­ily who helped set up the event and vol­un­teered their time.”
