While Amazon’s 4K streamer is less of an essential than it was last year – the majority of UHD TVS now come with its apps installed – there’s still plenty to like about this box. Full HD picture quality isn’t far off what you get from a Blu-ray, while 4K content is a huge leap up, lathering your screen in a stunning amount of detail. Plus, the Fire TV has enough power to play games, such as Shovel Knight, Minecraft and GTA Vice City. Sound good? You’ll need to cough up an extra £40 for an official Game Controller. Considering this thing’s bargain price, it’s hard to complain.
