Naysayers warned me of the likelihood of motion sickness. “Pah!” said I, as I skipped off to an Oculus Game Day in central London. Six hours of Rift robotblasting, spell-casting and space-floating later, I felt absolutely fine – apart from a racing pulse and a strong desire to fling things around with reckless abandon. It wasn’t until I left the building and sat down on the train that I started to feel properly peaky. Or was I still there, riding home in VR? Am I still there now? Aargh!
