Shelf life

use reclaimed timber to build your own shelves. old scaffold planks will do, just add a coat of diluted white paint to create a driftwood effect. Fit them in an alcove and display coastalthemed details in similar colours, such as jars filled with shells, starfish-shaped accessories and glass bottles.
