old table­top or board White paint 10mm tacks, £2 for 100g, Hob­by­craft Neon pink macrame cord, £3 for 10m, Hob­by­craft De­coart Crafters acrylic in neon green, £1.50, Hob­by­craft White and black thread pen­cil Ham­mer

1 Paint the table­top or board with white paint, al­low to dry. Paint bor­der edge in neon green, leave to dry. Draw or print a flamingo out­line onto pa­per and place on board. Tap in tacks to hold pa­per in place. 2 Ham­mer in tacks all the way around the lines, then tear pa­per away. knot the end of the pink cord around a tack and wind at ran­dom to fill the flamingo shape. Tie off when com­plete and cut the ex­cess. Add black and white thread for the beak.
