pva glue, £1.50, Hob­by­craft Food colour­ing Clean clear glass jars paint­brush

1 Squeeze a tea­spoon of PVA glue into a small jar (or more for a larger jam jar) and add a few drops of food colour­ing. Mix thor­oughly, then turn the jar up­side down. Ro­tate the jar to spread the coloured glue around inside the jar. 2 Once the inside is cov­ered, leave the jar up­side down to al­low the ex­cess to drip away. Turn it up­right and leave for the glue to dry thor­oughly be­fore us­ing.

Keep the jars out of the sun­light as the colour will fade
