I think it’s fair to say that Christmas is my favourite time of year, when I get to hunker down at home with family and friends. And, this year is especially exciting as it’s our first Christmas for me and my boyfriend Mark, plus I’m in a new home, too. Naturally, I’ll be stocking up on decorations, so am loving the trees (p14) styled by our fabulous Stylists at Home. We’ve got seven stunning looks – from woodland to opulent and traditional to glitzy – there’s sure to be one you’ll love. Dusty pink and gold gets my vote, so I’m drawn to cover star Liana’s living room (p84), while Amber’s natural scheme (p38) with Scandi touches and green foliage has a beautiful feel, too. There’s plenty of time to finish your present shopping and our guide (p75) is packed with over 82 gifts for all the family! Christmas is a good excuse to have a go at making decorations, ornaments and even gifts, so try our projects – cutlery holders, coasters and candle jars – that are cheap and quick to make. Celebrations can be even more special when there are children to share them with, and our guide to making the festivities magical has some fantastic ideas (p34).
