ABOUT ME I’m Vickie Jones, 33, and I live with my husband Jumell, 36, and our two children, Kayden, 6, and Nyla, 4. I’m an avid Instagram user (@x_mrsvjones_x).

MY HOME A four-bedroom detached new-build in Shefford, Bedfordshire. We moved in during January 2015.

WHEN I BOUGHT IT The house didn’t have much character and I knew I wanted to inject some personality. Thankfully, the property had lots of space, which was important to us.

AND NOW I’ve made the place feel like a family home and have gone for a contemporary style with a few traditional twists throughout.

STYLE TIP Don’t feel you have to stick to just one style; give each room an identity and link them all together with a coordinating look.
