Do it! fill a disused fireplace

-

1 If you don’t use your fireplace but want to keep it as a feature, fill it with a pile of wood or logs. 2 Try to choose logs of similar shapes and sizes for a cohesive look – the key is creating a neat, styled display. 3 Start at the bottom and stack the logs on top of each other, trying to fill gaps with slightly smaller logs if you can. 4 Once the space has been filled, either leave the logs as they are for a rustic look, or paint the facing ends white for a lighter feel.
