Cheat gets 130 years to pay up

A WOMAN claimed £ 55,726 in benefits over 13 years while part-owning a house now worth £ 94,500 and two barns in Spain.

Donna Tithecott, 54, left, of Lifton, Devon, was given a nine-month suspended sentence at Exeter Crown Court after failing to notify the authorities of a change in circumstances.

Under a court order she would take 130 years to repay the cash.
