WORCESTER have ended a 122-year wait for a win at LE­ICES­TER.

The War­riors re­sisted a late fight­back at Welford Road to win 31-27 as winger Josh Adams (be­low) fol­lowed his hat-trick against NORTHAMP­TON with two more tries.

The other touch­downs came from Alafoti Fa’os­iliva, Jack Sin­gle­ton and Ryan Mills, while the Tigers replied through Mike Fitzger­ald, Sam Har­ri­son and Gareth Owen.

BATH climbed above Le­ices­ter into third place with an ir­re­sistible first-half per­for­mance to set up a 38-14 vic­tory over HARLEQUINS.

The bonus point was wrapped up in the first quar­ter with tries from Paul Grant, Freddie Burns, El­liott Stooke and Matt Bana­han.

Quins hit back with a try in each half through flanker Henry Cheese­man and wing Gabriel Ibitoye.

SALE in­flicted more pain on Northamp­ton with an 18-15 win in yes­ter­day’s late kick-off.
