Harris’ Lion hearts plea Noone woe for Lampard
NEIL WARNOCK is backing Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard to smash the glass ceiling for British bosses at elite level.
The Cardiff City chief delivered his positive message on the future of homegrown coaches in the Premier League ahead of today’s home showdown against Burnley. Last season Clarets boss Sean Dyche finished higher up the football ladder than any Brits after Burnley finished seventh.
And Warnock, 69, said: “I do think Gerrard and Lampard will have more opportunity than the lesser names among the English lads. A lesser name wouldn’t get the same money.”
