MIL­LEN­NI­ALS are spend­ing less money on cig­a­rettes and al­co­hol and more on their mo­bile phones than any pre­vi­ous gen­er­a­tion, ac­cord­ing to a study by the Res­o­lu­tion Foun­da­tion. The sur­vey sug­gests peo­ple aged 25 to 34 can’t af­ford to splash out on booze and cigs be­cause of a fall in in­come and a ris­ing cost of liv­ing.
