Amanda Holden’s blush went into orbit after she asked British astronaut Major Tim Peake about his visit to the moon, although the 45-year-old has never been there, and nor has anyone since 1972. “I wasn’t on the moon,” Peake told the This Morning presenter: “I was on the space station.” Holden, who asked if he had collected a piece of moon rock, later tweeted: “#sofunny I’m a t*t.”

The Glen is English have been denied by The National Galleries of Scotland (NGS), which owns the iconic Edwin Landseer painting. A Buckinghamshire hotel had suggested the picture was based on a stag seen in its grounds during Landseer’s visits in the 19th century. But NGS says the setting is undoubtedly Highland.
Jeremy Corbyn is to become a telly addict for charity. The Labour leader will take part in Channel 4’s Gogglebox this week. Corbyn is a known soap fan. After his General Election campaign he said he planned to “catch up with EastEnders” and he watched Casualty on the eve of this year’s Labour Party conference in Brighton.
