Brexit hits breakfast

Families are forking out more for breakfast as wheat prices soar.

A Weetabix 24-pack hit £2.39 at Asda and Morrisons – a seven per cent hike. Shredded Wheat Biscuits are also up seven per cent.

Weetabix had warned of rising wheat costs since the Brexit vote hit the pound.
