Airdrie-based trader Gorman is facing jail after being found guilty of selling dogs without a licence.

Gorman, 54, kept dogs in appalling conditions and was arrested following an investigation by the Scottish SPCA .

He is due to be sentenced on Wednesday.

Gorman, who was previously acquitted of a £230,000 drug plot, faces a six-figure tax demand from HMRC.
