Four languages but I still can’t find a job

I’ve been trying to find a job for about six months.

The council tried to put me in a hostel but it was full of people taking drugs and I didn’t feel comfortable. I don’t do drugs or drink.

I moved to Aberdeen from Portugal in the hope of starting a new life a year ago. But I found myself on a zero-hour contract working shifts as a security officer. I worked in the exporting industry in Portugal. I am trying to find some work. I just want a job. I speak four languages and I still don’t find it easy. Sometimes I sleep at a friend’s house and other times I sleep on the street.
