Queen Claire Fame has not hit me yet

Sunday Mail (UK) - - News -

She is tipped to win an Emmy Award in Los Angeles tonight but Claire Foy can still walk down the street unrecognised.

The actress, who plays the Queen in The Crown, claims people don’t look twice at her even when she’s in full costume from the show.

Her part in the series, which co-stars Matt Smith, has led to her nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Claire said: “I’ve been out in my Queen’s wig and full costume for dinner in London while we’ve been shooting, and even then people didn’t care.”

Ewan McGregor has been nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie category for his dual performance as Ray and Emmit Stussy in Fargo.
