50 pupils on the list drawn up by teachers
Craig McDonald Students at one of Scotland’s top fee-paying schools have been suspended amid claims of a movie-style fight club among pupils.
It’s claimed teachers have a list of up to 50 students involved in organised bare-knuckle clashes.
Two boys at £ 14,000- a- year Edinburgh Academy were suspended last week following one brawl.
A source told the Sunday Mail they feared organised fights had been going on for “weeks at least”.
It has also been claimed that pupils have been gambling on the outcome of brawls and uploading footage on social media network Instagram.
The source, a relative of a pupil at the school, said: “The information which came from the school was alarming.
“They stated that it appears some form of organised fight club was going on.
“It ’ s been claimed the students were betting among themselves on who would win.
