No blues after change of kit

Sunday Mail (UK) - - News -

Scotland wore their away strip at home for the first time in nearly 25 years last week.

Gordon Strachan’s men donned their striking pink shirts for Thursday’s vital win against Slovakia at Hampden.

The last appearance by an away kit on home soil was during a 1-0 friendly defeat by Germany at Ibrox in 1993.

Scotland were expected to wear their blue home kit against Slovakia but match officials decided its white sleeves clashed with the opposition’s white jerseys.
