Cyclist on 104-mile ride goes missing
Concern was growing last night for a 63-yearold cyclist who went missing while on a 104mile journey.
Anthony Parsons, known as Tony, left his home in Ross Cou r t , T i l l i c o u t r y, Clackmannanshire, more than a week ago.
He travel led to For t William by train, arriving at around 4.10pm on Friday, September 29.
It is bel ieved he then set off to cycle back to Tillicoultry along the A82.
Tony passed Glencoe Village on his bike shortly after 6pm that day and was seen at 11.30pm at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel in Argyll.
He left that area and headed sout h , in the direction of Tyndrum.
Police are appealing for members of the public to check out-houses and sheds in the search.
He is described as 5ft 9in tall, stocky build, with short hair, a moustache and may be wearing glasses.
He has a tattoo of an anchor on his right upper arm and another of an eagle on his left.

He was carrying a silver and blue backpack and had a yellow framed bike with black handlebars.
