I signed up for a spe­cial of­fer on ho­tel ac­com­mo­da­tion via a daily deals web­site. But I phoned to book and the ho­tel said the voucher had ex­pired. It had to be re­deemed within a month but no one told me. What can I do? If there were no terms is­sued (and there is noth­ing printed on the voucher), take it up with the deals web­site as your con­tract is with them. You can’t be ex­pected to know about the ex­piry. You are en­ti­tled to a re­fund or to ask for the va­lid­ity to be ex­tended.
