Shop sent me wrong items

Sunday Mail (UK) - - The Judge -

I ordered groceries online but had to wait a couple of days for delivery as my local store was inundated. When the load arrived, more than half of the items had been substituted with brands I didn’t want. The store claimed they were within their rights to do this. Can I insist on a partial refund? Yes but check the contract. It is likely the store has the option to substitute items which are not available when your order is picked. But you also have the right to return them if you’re not happy. Try to negotiate a discount off your order or off future shopping.
