A TEEN boxer died after collapsing in the ring at the end of a bout.

Ed Bilbey, 17 – pictured right – stumbled in front of shocked onlookers after losing over three rounds to Tyler Rivers, 20.

He was treated in the ring but was pronounced dead at hospital. Ed’s coach Mike Shinfield said: living, 100 per cent fit. It’s a mystery.” Ed’s brother Henry, left, later posted this family picture on Facebook, writing: “Love you.”

The tragedy at the PostMill Centre in South Normanton, Derbys, came 10 days after kickboxer Scott Marsden, 14, collapsed in the ring and died following a title bout in Leeds.
