Hughes is spot on for McGeeney
ARMAGH goalkeeper Blaine Hughes saved CJ McGourty’s late penalty to move the orchard men top of Division Three.
The game descended into farce in injury-time with Armagh finishing with 14 players and Antrim with 13 in a stormy finish in the Athletic Grounds.
There were three straight red cards in injury-time for Conor Murray (Antrim), Stephen Sheridan
(Armagh) and Stephen Beatty (Antrim), but Antrim should have finished with 12 players.
Conor Hamill picked up a black card after earlier getting a yellow, but a substitution was allowed in a scrappy, confusing finish.
Armagh were wasteful with 11 first-half wides and four other shots dropping short but Ciaran McKeever, playing an unusual role at full-forward, fisted an early goal for the hosts.
Antrim grew in condience and McGourty continued to convert dead ball chances but his spotkick was to prove costly.
