Pet talk WORKING LIKE A DOG

WORKING animals, from sheepdogs and police horses to donkeys and camels, were celebrated this week.

International Working Animals Day highlighted vital four-legged work across industries such as transport, search and rescue and farming.

Sheep dog trials in North Wales and Mountie polo in Canada were some of the events that marked the day.

A billion people rely on working animals.
