Star’s five steps to stay healthy through winter
1 More colds and flus are rampant and bugs are spreading so it’s a good idea to eat more fruit and vegetables.
2 Be aware of your vitamins – zinc intake is important for your immune system during the winter months.
3 I drink lemon and ginger tea in the morning which is really good for keeping healthy. 4 Take a probiotic daily because a lot of your immune system starts in your digestive health.
5 Avoid late nights and get enough sleep. In October and November I hibernate as the festive season is busy, so I’ll avoid going out if possible.
