CLUCKY ONES ONE in five dog owners spends a mighty £920 a year on treats, clothes and grooming products for their pets.

A survey found almost two-thirds of owners splash out on their dogs before they treat themselves. The softest owners were in the North East of England, according to a Furbo survey.

Furbo is a novelty camera that tosses out treats for dogs then snaps the quizzical pets as they pounce.
