TWIN PEAKS STILL ON FLEEK

Suddenly it feels like 1990 all over again as Norma Jennings (Peggy Lipton) and Shelly Johnson (Mädchen Amick) are back in the Double R diner pouring “a damn fine cup of coffee”.

Cult show Twin Peaks returns tomorrow with two back-to-back double bills on Sky Atlantic.

The cast, including Kyle Maclachlan, will mark the comeback with a screening at Cannes. And while he reinvented himself as Charlotte’s hubby Trey in Sex and the City, we’ve never forgotten FBI special agent Dale Cooper.

Creator David Lynch has kept the plot under lock and key. But it’s expected to be a direct sequel to the original series and have connections to last year’s novel, The Secret History of Twin Peaks.
