Ox could quit over Gunners deal delay

- BY JOHN CROSS

ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN has been left deeply frustrated by Arsenal’s lack of action on a new contract – and that could see him leave this summer.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has only a year left on his deal and was expecting Arsenal to begin formal talks, but they have yet to offer him new terms.

That has thrown his future into major doubt, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City watching developments.

The England ace, 23, was told to expect quick progress – but Arsenal have failed to begin formal talks. The Gunners have an issue this summer as a string of players only have a year left on their deals.
