Man held on killing of dog walker OAP

POLICE have made an arrest in the hunt for the killer of an 83-year-old walking his two dogs.

Ex-BT engineer Peter Wrighton was stabbed in the neck and head.

A man in his twenties was held yesterday.

Sources said police were investigat­ing whether Mr Wrighton was involved in a row before his death.

A witness reported hearing two men arguing in woods at East Harling, Norfolk, where the body was found on August 4.

Norfolk police launched their biggest ever manhunt with 120 officers involved.

Mr Wrighton leaves a widow, Ann. They had been married 59 years.
