Rio playlists Saddest Day for lost mum
Rio and mum Janice GRIEVING Rio Ferdinand has curated a playlist in memory of his mum – with a track called Saddest Day.
Janice St Fort died from breast cancer aged 58 last month just two years after the ex-footballer lost wife Rebecca, 34, to the disease.
Music fan Rio, 38 – now dating TOWIE star Kate Wright, 26 – has set up Mum’s Playlist on Spotify.
It includes Wayne Wonder’s Saddest Day, Never Can Say Goodbye by The Jackson 5 and Missing You Now by Sanchez.
Single parent Janice was just 17 when she had Rio – raised on a tough estate in Peckham, south London.
A source said: “Rio was incredibly close to his mum and this is an expression of the music they loved and shared together.”
