Nassau has a population of more than 270,000, making the capital two-thirds of the population of the Bahamas. Government and commerce aside, tourism is big business here and our two pictures show how, in particular, Paradise Island has changed with the addition of the sprawling Atlantis resort and two bridges to downtown Nassau.
