Croydon Cat Killer linked to Cornwall

POLICE are investigating the discovery of two skinned and decapitated cats in Cornwall to see if there is a link to the infamous “Croydon Cat Killer”.

The animals, which were found outside Truro Cathedral, also had their paws chopped off.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested and released pending further investigations.

The Cat Killer has slaughtered more than 300 pet cats, as well as rabbits and foxes since 2015.

Inspector Rick Milburn, of Truro Police, said: “You don’t need to be an animal lover to recognise that this is a truly abhorrent and cowardly act.”
