Son’s can­cer made Bublé ‘want to die’

MICHAEL Bublé has said his son’s bat­tle with liver can­cer made him want to die – and he now ques­tions the mean­ing of life.

The singer, 43, said of the di­ag­no­sis two years ago, when Noah was three: “I don’t even know how I was breath­ing.

“My wife was the same and even though I was the stronger of the two of us, I wasn’t strong.”

Speak­ing to a magazine, the Cana­dian su­per­star said he now ques­tioned fame and had be­come “em­bar­rassed by my ego”, jok­ing he would re­tire.

He added: “I don’t have the stom­ach for it. The celebrity nar­cis­sism. My whole be­ing’s changed.”

Noah is now in re­mis­sion. Michael has two younger chil­dren with his wife Luisana Lopi­lato, 31.
