Q&A

Sunday Mirror - - PUZZLES -

QVet Peter Wright works at Skeldale Veterinary Centre, the original James Herriot practice in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, and he’s also star of TV’s The Yorkshire Vet which is on Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 5. You need to do plenty of research. Donkeys are very sociable and it is better if they are kept as a pair. Avoid an entirely male donkey as they can be aggressive but two females or a gelding (castrated male) and a female is fine. Donkeys also need a shelter as they can get chilly in cold wet weather. Learn what to look for if your donkey is unwell. They require a diet low in protein, sugar and carbs but high in fibre. A vet or Donkey Sanctuary will have more info.
